Welding

Specialized engineering expertise in the turbine industry

In the process of refurbishing and manufacturing hot section parts for gas turbines, industrial welding is one of the most critical stages that determines the final quality of the component. This stage not only creates a physical bond, but must also be structurally, mechanically, and thermally compatible with the original part. Therefore, our welding services are carried out with precision, expertise, and rigorous supervision

Types of welding methods used

At Arya Turbine Moeen, we use various welding methods depending on the material, type, and sensitivity of the component, including:

  • GTAW (TIG Welding): For high-precision components with thermal sensitivity

  • SMAW (الکترود دستی): In areas with limited access or the need for resistant welding

  • MIG/MAG: For welding large components or those requiring high-speed processes

  • (Hardfacing) of surface coatings through welding is a method chosen based on the metallurgical conditions and application of the component

Welding of special alloys and hot components

One of our specializations is the welding of specific and heat-resistant alloys such as Inconel, Hastelloy, Nimonic, and Superalloys, which are used in the fabrication and refurbishment of blades, nozzles, and combustion chambers. This process is carried out with precise control of preheating, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT)

Human resource skills and standards

All welders in the complex hold valid industrial welding certifications and operate under the supervision of welding engineers and quality control. Our welding services comply with international standards such as:

  • ASME Section IX

  • AWS D1.1 / D17.1

  • API 1104

  • ISO 15614
    Is provided.

Quality Control and Weld Testing

After welding is completed, strict quality control is performed, including the following tests:

  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): PT, MT, UT, RT

  • Metallurgical Examination of Welds: Structure Analysis, Crack Susceptibility, and Hardness

  • Study of Residual Stresses and Weld Failure Analysis
A comprehensive report for each weld, along with technical documentation, can be provided to the client.

On-Site Welding

In power plant projects or for large equipment that cannot be transported to the workshop, our mobile welding team is dispatched to the project site with complete and portable equipment. All operations on-site are carried out according to standards and under the direct supervision of the QC unit.

Advantages of our welding services

  • Specialization in welding advanced alloys and sensitive components

  • Experienced team with valid industrial welding certifications

  • Advanced welding and preheating equipment

  • Comprehensive documentation of welds and issuance of technical reports

  • Full compliance with the requirements of power plant, oil, and gas operators.
